Ok, you're just starting out, & considering that, it's a good effort. Love the white axe! Concentrate your efforts on locking into a groove with the bass player, & forget fills, no matter how simple they seem to be. Repeating the same snare fill frequently detracts from the groove. Having both guitarists playing almost exactly the same lines doesn't make the best use of two players.

Hey, you guys are out there having a go. To me, that puts you above guys who never step out of their bedroom. Kudos to you & your bandmates!

Thanks! Sorry about the snare fill observation. I don't know the song. Anyhow, good luck to you & your band. Keep doing your stuff!

Rad, great to see whippersnappers still getting together to play rock - it's even more pleasing than fogies like me still plugging away at it :)

Seriously, so many people are taking the home recording on a laptop route, which has its cool side, but IMO there's nothing quite like getting together with friends with instruments and physically playing the music.

Very disciplined for guys starting out (a lot more than I was). You did well, listening and keeping it together with the group. A promising start.

Keep working on your timing, you're not far off. I'm sure you know the spots where you wavered a bit.

Also, watch out for the volumes between hats, kick and snare. Notice how in the original the hats are quieter than the kick and snare? If you bring your hats volume down a bit and maintain your kick and snare volumes you'll get closer to the original sound (if that's what you're after) and the song will have more sense of groove.

Not sure I qualify amongst the "great drummers" here lol but you're welcome :)

If you're wondering about your grip and stroke it might be good to see a teacher.

Boogie on!
