Default NEW IRON COBRAS FOR 2011

http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/product/ha...=213&year=2011

Have any of you guys seen this? It's on Japanese site as far as I know (didn't google for other countries), but we can expect these new babies soon I'm sure. I like the smooth footboard and the new bearing housing. Cool looks also :)

Looking good, that page translated was a nightmare though! My personal favourite was when describing the beater: 'Hit in the face by a large head'

Hopefully this means they'll be blowing out the current ones at rock bottom prices soon!

"For 2011, we have redesigned the Iron Cobra footboard, the face of the pedal, to give it a refined look and a smoother feel for heel-toe playing and slide techniques. In addition, we have adopted a thicker Oiles® Bearing Hinge and new pedal housing structure for improved action and even higher durability"

Not really major improvements IMO.

The cosmetic change (the silver) feels a bit weird after seeing the same thing for 13 years

I don't own an IC, but I'm pretty happy because of the changed footboard. One day I'll probably own one of these babies and I always thought slides were gonna be pretty difficult. The new footboard has made my day :D
