Default smaller sized drum sticks

Has any drummer out there ever felt the need to use smaller or junior sized sticks because they have smaller hands and the standard 16' L and 560' Diameter sticks are too cumbersome? If anyone has which manufacturers do you recommend? Please comment.

Small diameter stocks are fine if you do not play loud music. All of the stick makers have small sticks. Go to their websites and check 'em out. I had a friend who liked thin sticks, but he played fairly loud, and he was always breaking them in two. Good luck.
