Default Double Bass Pedal Positioning?

Hi guys i got my DW 3000 at Christmas and i have been struggling to find a good position to put my hi hat along with fitting in my double bass pedals. The problem is my right hand is of the left hands stick just so i can reach the hi hat. If you have and pics of how you setup your double bass pedal that would be appreciated!

Better idea: can you post a pic of yours so we can see what you're trying to say...?

Although I don't have to use my double pedal that often, this is the way my Tama PowerGlides usually fall into place.

Hi I'm a metal player with a lot of experience with pedal positioning issues and I would suggest that the drive shaft is almost parallel. This allows you to sit evenly between pedals. I don't angle the pedals, except enough for the drive shaft to work properly with the left pedal. If you're saying you are hitting your hands when playing hi hat... raise your hi hat or see if you have rotating legs on the stand.

Many players have the double pedal one the outside of the hihat. This allows you to position the hihat much close to the snare drum.

I used to do that for a while; here's how it looked:

As you can see here, that allowed the hihat to be extremely close to the snare:
