Default Bag that is long enough for a high hat stand

Can anyone suggest an inexpensive bag that can hold a high hat stand?
My HH is still a hold out of the bags. Everything else is in a bag, and then,
I carry the HH stand in naked like a chooch.

?

There are bags designed specifically to carry hardware. Many come with wheels and a handle for easy cartage......as with all musical related gear though, the term "inexpensive" is entirely subjective.

If you're not sold on one of those.....or think that inexpensive doesn't quite apply to them, there are also quite a few sports bags around that are long enough to handle your hat stand.

Ok then - I'm just looking for anyone to quote a Gator-like bag that is long enough for a hi-hat.
I have a very long, most excellent, inexpensive soft Gator bag that takes my throne, my cymbal stand, etc. But - it won't take my hi-hat.

Not a Gator-style, but I use an army-surplus type duffel bag. I got it at the local sporting goods store for 16.99. Works like a charm!

I use 36 inch Gator hardware bags for all five of my kits.
My hat stands all have memory locks on the upper tubes. I unscrew the upper rod, break the stand in half, put the rod into the upper tube so that it doesn't get bent, and I place the stand in the bag in two pieces.
I can assemble my hat stand in just a few seconds to the same height each time because of the memory locks.

i think most high hat stands are too tall anyhow. i'm seriously considering taking the top 4 inches or so off of mine lol!

If you're not into breaking down the HH each time for cartage, an option is using a bag for the lower half- legs, foot board section, leaving the upper tube/rod exposed.

You still have to move it with kid gloves, but your bottom half is contained (a small bungee cord will keep the foot board up against the folded legs) and the major chrome is somewhat protected and you side step the annoying assembly and disassembly processes.

I put my hardware in a windsurfing board bag. It's long enough and wide enough and looks pretty darn cool.

The thing that you want Frank is a Golf Club Travel Container.
I have seen drummers use these before.

There are many different styles to choose from.
