Default Bass Drum Port Hole Question

What size port hole would best fit a 22" bass drum head?

Standard size porthole for a 22 without going too big or too small would be a 4 or 5" hole.
These sizes allow some air escaping but not too much. I believe 6" or more and you are in diminishing returns territory.
