Default 1969 Sling MWP Buddy Rich set

I was fortuntate enough to have grown up 5 miles from the Slingerland plant, so when I was 18 my dad took me there and let me pick out a set, if you go to my web site, you might see part of this set live, plus a look at my Fibes stainless steel set, wich is what I gig with mostly now, My sling stays inside now unless I'm playing a HUGE venue.

Good god I love those! I miss those days. I had a black Slingerland kit my parents bought me in 1979 - and the hardware is the same! You don't get that today. There's always something new engineering-wise they come out with every other year now!

I bet those things just sing!
