Default Aquarian Heads!!

Well tons of talk on Aquarian heads lately. I myself am a Remo guy but love Aquarian bass drum heads and recently had to replace one and was happily surprised to find out that all Aquarian heads are on for half price right now!!!!! I bought my favorite bass drum head (SK2) for $40. A 24 inch. I bought one for my old kit and it cost me $70 plus bucks, I asked the guy what's the deal, and he told me they are all on for half price!!!!!
I recently got new heads for my toms but if I hadn't I would have tried out some new Aquarians for a good price. So if you live in Canada ask about it!!

I'm not brand loyal, I use heads from the big three.
I do like many Aquarian heads and I use them regularly.
I like the SK's on my bass and The Classic Clears underneath my toms.
I also like the Studio-X series.

Yup that's a good price for a quality drum head.

I'm not overly brand loyal but am also not made of money so I know what works for me and don't really sway away from that, the last thing I want to do is spend $100 bucks replacing heads to be let down, that's why this forum and guys like you whom have knowledge with other products can pass that on. So I appreciate it. But ya I'm not sure what the deal with the cheap Aquarians are but go get them now if your interested in them because they are cheap right now.

If thats the case then I'll test the head and go back and order the rest of 'em before the prices go up. BTW are they going up?

I just went to my music store to pick up my trusted Aquarian SK2 24inch and it was $40. My old kit I put the same head on about a year ago and paid almost $80. I asked the guy that works there about the price, and he said that all the Aquarian stuff is marked down not sure the reasoning, but it is. So go replace those heads especially the bass drum. The SK2 and Sk1 bass drum heads are the best IMO.

I do love the Super Kick 2 for the bass drum.

Best bass drum head ever made in my humble opinion.

I've also used their snare drum heads (texture coated) on and off for years. It's a bit brighter than the Remo, which can be a nice change of pace.
