Default Paiste Power Ride

The drum store near my house is selling a 22" Paiste Power Ride for 89 dollars. It's in good quality and everything. I was wondering what the sound of it is like. I'm probably gonna end up buying it or this other Zildjian ride they had for around the same price.

89 bucks is pretty good for a used cymbal am i right?

sounds like it could be a really good deal. But you have to find out what series it is......
Signature, Alpha, 2002, PT3, etc, If its a used ride, and its not cracked or anything it could be something good.
I have a 21" Signature series Paiste Dry Heavy Ride, which I love and will never part with. Very crisp, clean and cutting. All my other cymbals are zildjians, because I have yet to find one better than my Paiste.

That's an awesome deal. Just check for cracks or keyholing. If it's all good, buy it before somebody else does, if you end up not liking the sound you will be able to make some money reselling it.

Yeah thats what I was thinking.

This place has really good deals though. They were selling some AA reg high hats for like 70. And some other Paiste crashes for around 70 aswell. I'm probably gonna cash in tomorrow or something.

I have the same ride and agree 100%..it is the best ride I have ever played..I got it while I had a Zildjian Z mega bell and what really suprised me was how much louder the bell on the Paiste DHR is...have tried a couple different K's an Istanbul ...nothing competes with this ride for rock..Also agree you need to know the series.. I would say if its not an PST 3 or 5 or a 100-502 your getting a good deal

Drum shop near me was selling used splashes. Sabian AA medium splash 10" for 10 bucks. I figured what the hell and bought it. Sounds great! It'll probably crack in 6 or 7 months, but it was only $10, so it was well worth it.
