Default DW 3000 Double Bass Help!!!!

Hey forum I recently got a DW 3000 double bass pedal
I have been trying to adjust everything but for some reason my heel toe is not getting the impact it used to. I know I have the proper technique I used to do it easily on a belt driven 1980s yamaha pedal. The beaters are pretty heavy maybe that Is the reason.
Any advice you guys have to offer would be great.

I had the same problem with some of DW pedals even though they basically all look alike.

I returned the pedal and got a Pearl Eliminator and didn't have the problem.

I don't know what it was about that pedal it just was super hard to get a heel-toe out of it.

perhaps it is the weight of the footboards or the different cam, which might be giving the pedal different levels of articulation in different places.... which might be causing your problem ^.^
