Default Anyone ever hear of Probeat Kit's? Not Ludwig

Hey Everyone,

Just joined up to this forum, I'm freshly out of the waters with my ears wet...or ringing! haha! been playing only for about 6 weeks.
Anyone interested here's my intro:

Anyway, my wife was sweet enough to get me a used kit from a co-worker because she knew I always wanted to learn. It's a "Probeat" kit with Sabian Solar Hit-Hats and 16" crash, as well as a Sabian B8 8" splash, which I can't really find any info on it on the net besides people selling them on craigslist or ebay. It's obvious they are not at the same level as the Pearl, DW, Ludwig etc. My first upgrades were the heads, I put Evans Clear G1 and G2's on them and they sound pretty good.

Has anyone heard about this brand? I figure I'll learn more and maybe search craigslist for a better kit eventually. I've only been playing for a short time but I already see and hear that the cymbals need to be upgraded...these ones suck a$$! hahaha!

Anyway, looking forward to being a part of this community!

Never heard of probeat. Looks like a generic beginners kit.

nah, looks like this (see attachment)
I'm sure it's just a generic beginner kit as well, not too picky at the moment but as mentioned I'd like to upgrade when I'm ready.
They actually don't sound too bad now that the new heads are on there, still have to change the snare heads and the kick drum head too. but then again I have nothing to compare it too :)
