Default W.S. Holland

I did a search and I was very surprised that i didnt find a post for W.S. Holland (Johnny Cash's Drummer). He was a great rockabilly and country drummer. I play in a Cash tribute band and I think he helped define the rockabilly and outlaw country drum sound.

His train doubles on Orange Blossom Special are outstanding. His ability to groove with a rockabilly shuffle on both the ride or hats as well as the snare at the same time is outstanding. A very full sound.

This is me.

This is what I do.

He's a great drummer. Lot's of energy in his playing. I'm not sure how old he is, but he still plays in this area from time to time. Love that double bass Rogers kit.
