But the dark series are nothing alike! It's just something different. I think the dark series is very versatile, too.

Just picked up a Byzance Traditional 18" crash. Very nice, noticeably darker than my brilliants, the Byzance lines are just full of win.

Just picked up the Byzance 20" Dark Raw Bell Ride. I also have the Byzance 20" Sand ride. Pictures to follow.

Only Meinl cymbals I'm currently using are classics 18'' china, 12'' gen. X filter china and 14'' hcs hi-hats as secondary hats in my setup. Even though I'm nowadays using mostly Paiste, Meinl still has a place in my heart beacuse I started my drumming "career" with meinl (:
I still have HCS 16'' crash (cracked badly), same serie 20'' ride and badly cracked 10 classics splash and 12'' china which is also very badly cracked. Sometimes I use those last two cymbals as a stack. It works.

As soon as I bought my Dark bell ride I found one in the states on Ebay for $279!!

At this point, I have a few cymbals from different manufacturers however I would like to convert everything over to entirely Meinl at some point. What I have on my setup right now from left to right is:
