There is a BIG difference between the DW 7002 and the Tama IC. The IC is more lighter, you do less effort on the foot board when playing at high speeds , very smooth and responsive, beaters are also lighter and durable, the power glides are AWESOME i would definitely recommend them if your looking for something durable and affordable for what it has to offer.

For me the DW 7002 is just toooo heavy and i also don't like the way the pedal board is manufactured, it's really a good brand but it's a matter of preference.

What genre are you into?

Your welcome man, i had a DW 7000 and it didn't give me what i wanted, plus i have big feet so, since i'm into death metal and fast stuff i got myself a AXIS double pedal so that i dont have to be changing pedals as well its a really good pedal for heel to or any other feel you want to apply to it, when ever playing slow or fast, but i have also tried the IC and like i said, they are very very good, and it also fits your style of genre perfectly.
