Default Looking for a wet, controlled sound.

Sorry to start another thread but I think I realize what I'm looking for in a tom head. I want a wet, controlled sound.

Something that is wet but controlled and not overly sustained. Any suggestions from any brand?
1) Pearl Masters BRX Vintage Sunburst
2) PDP FS Cherry Fade

When you say 'wet' do you mean as in really ringy? Or something where you hear more of the sticky attack?

I was going to say Remo Pinstripes at first, which will give you a controlled sound, and you do hear more of the stick attack. But if you want ringy and controlled, maybe those Evans EC1's or 2's.

Then again, if you're playing in a band controlled might be too muffled anyway, so I'd fall back on regular ol' Ambassadors or G1s (or Emperor's or G2s). Can't go wrong with those, either.

toms: aquarian performance II. nice controllable ring and can tune low!
bottom heads are a must for your sound.

snare: aquarian studio x and evans hazy 300.

kick: evans emad clear batter and aquarian performance II resonate.

Pinstripes, Emperors as a compromise.
