Default vinyl bass drum logo's

Has anyone know if a vinyl bass drum logo will stick to a coated head without lifting?
A friend of mine has a vinyl cutter and has made me a black logo but I'm having trouble finding a smooth white resonant.

Not shure if that would work. If you have an old coated head laying around cut a piece of vinyl, put it on and see what happens. Those type of decals are supposed to be used on a clean flat surface such as glass etc... so i'm thinking it MIGHT not work but i could be wrong.

Yeah, I've got a smooth white Aquarian Regulator on the reso of my bass drum. Works great with a Superkick II on the batter.

If it's good vinyl, it will stick to a coated head fine.

I did two logos on 2 different types/brands of coated heads and it was fine.
You just need to rub it down a little more than on a smooth head that's all.

After the logo is down and the backing is off, I'd suggest using a plain white sheet of paper and rub the logo on an extra bit to make sure it's down. Your thumbnail should be fine for doing that.

Spray adhesive won't work. It would make the backing stick to the head which you want to pull away, and sprayed on the head would be a disasterous mess.

Good luck with it.

I've seen one of these on a Fiberskyn reso, and those heads are way more uneven and rough than your typical coated head, so it should be fine.
