Default Zickos Drums

I'm new to this site so here goes. I play a set of Zickos drums I've had since 1975. I love the drums (they hae a big full sound) but the hardware is a little weak. I've had to replace the tom mounts and the FT legs. I'd be interested to know if anyone else here has had experience with them. I understand Floyd Sneed and Keith Moon used to play them.

Indeed, I always thought the Zickos shells were awesome, but the hardware wasn't up to par (some of it was Camco) to support the weight of those shells. I had an 18" floor, and while it never failed on me, the Ludwig design was, in my opinion, a better unit. I always ran my 14" Zickos rack tom on a snare stand.
