Default Cadel Evans (AUS) leads Tour de France

For all you Aussies...or anyone else that may follow cycling. Cadel Evans got the yellow jersey yesterday. I've always liked him; I've followed him since his mountain bike days and it's great to see him leading the Tour.

Any other cycling geeks out there?

I'm no cycling geek by any measure....I have a few friends who are avid cyclists and all I can ever do is hang it on them mercilessly for wearing lycra!!

That said, I am prone to sitting up past 2am watching the bloody tour though. Tough men. it's an amazing feat of endurance.

Great to see Cadel back in the mix.......hopefully this year he has a team with some remnant of a backbone that will be able to support him. His team let him down miserably last year.
