Default Someone explain how this works?

http://www.hansenfutz.com/

click on the electronic pedal link. How is the trigger actually working with this? Is it the footboard hitting the post carrying the vibration through?

Did you see the vid?
I think that it explained it. It was hard to find the vid on the page link that you posted.
The post on the bottom of the pedal hits the disc that you install.

Saw a youtube video of it at Namm, similar to that one. Just trying to understand how the trigger activates when the pedal is depressed.

It says that it accepts any standard trigger.
I guess that you put the silent disc in the pedal and mount the trigger close enough to pick up the stroke.
You're right it is kind of weird.
You may have to install one of the louder discs that are optional to set off the trigger.
Not a great web site.
Why the discs are optional and not all provided with the pedal is beyond me.
Kind of a rip off not selling you everything in one package.

Yeah the discs not being included is kind of bogus. Just got done doing some reading on it and what i read said you should install the loudest disc to get the trigger to work creating more vibration, though I thought with no disc was the loudest???
