Rattle in my cymbal arm

Hi al need some advice I have a rattle in my cymbal arm. It's a straight stand mounted on a rack and I think it might have something to do with it being hollow. So I'm looking for somewhere to get an insert for it. Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

I was going to suggest some Glucosomine/Chondriten but you're talking about your hardware, not your arm. = )

Hollowness won't cause a rattle. Pieces that can move against each other will cause a rattle. Assuming you've already tightened everything you can, I'd be really suspicious of anything with a pin holding it in place. Some connection or joint has play in it and is rattling. Sometimes even having a bolt doesn't mean it can't move in one direction or the other. The bolt may only be keeping it from sliding off.

I tend to use Glucosomine Sulphate for my rattly joints.
