If I was to replace my Spaun, it would be with SQ2.

Superb choice C.L.

"Palisander" is actually Rosewood.

My favorite finish. A close second the ebony veneer.

Hey guys,

thanks for all these replies.
Does anybods knows how I can edit the threadheadline? Because I wrote palisander finish and that's the german word for rosewood, so I would like to edit it.

@mrmike: I play all musicstyles. Funk, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Metal, Easy listening, Fusion, ....
At the moment I prefer the Remo Ambassador coated heads. Bass drum head is a Remo Powerstroke III clear.

cheers

how much did you pay for the shell set? I wish I could afford a SQ2... Love the sound of my Mapex Orion too, though... :).

Palisander sounds much cooler than Rosewood. Leave it as is.

@Swiss Matthias: My parents bestowed this set on me, but I think for BD, SD, TT, ST1 and ST2 they've payed sth about 4000€.
