Default Can you slap some mesh haead on an acoustic drumset and buy a module?

Can you put mesh heads on an acoustic drum kit and buy a module? will it work?

Yes.

However, you need to ALSO buy triggers. The mesh heads themselves are just heads, they don't come with the electronic element (the trigger) themselves.

But people do this all the time.

what exactly do you need I have a tama imperialstar and want to put some mesh heads on and I have cymbals not electronicso how muchwill it cost and what do I need

well you need the peizo triggers for one, their about 10 bucks canadian a peice here, then about a 20 dollar mesh head, the drum modual is a diff story those can get pretty damn pricey .

You might also want to get electronic cymbals as well. Unless of course you have a few overheads and prefer the feel of real metal under hand.
