Very enjoyable playing my friend. Love funk bass lines. It's nice to hear a snare drum that isn't tuned too low too. Nice and poppy. I like how you didn't need to "show off". You played what worked. Leaving the ego out of drum playing is a beautiful thing.

that was cool

good steady funky time. crisp fills nice touch

it's nice to watch someone play that doesn't feel the need to beat the crap out of their kit.

what hats and ride are you using?

Really nice stuff. Tried to listen in earlier but got the usual Youtube "error" message. Lovely tight groove & tasty fills. Very much liking the snare sound too. Faultless 'n funky!

Larry & Andy said it all. Good tight groove, and I too love the restraint shown . Very pro.

I echo the other posters. Solid playing, nice finesse, great sounding kit! Two thumbs up!

I agree with everyone else's comments, but I thought I'd just add that I always enjoy watching left handed drummers play :D Excellent work, love that snare tone.

It's true, this is quite tight, has nice sound (although the drums could be a little louder in my opinion). But honestly, what can you take out of this, I mean, it would had been alright for a live band performance, where the focus might be distributed among all the instruments, but the focus being on the drums, I just watch it and can't really get anything interesting out of it, my opinion is: "OK, another decent and reserved drummer". I mean, it's not innovative or interesting, it's just some simple grooves played alright. I am sorry if it sounds like I'm bashing you, that's not the idea here, but that performance just isn't interesting, and for someone with your decent tightness, it would be nice to see you going outside your comfort zone a bit more.

Fox.
