Default Attention to detail please!

OK, I just bought a new snare drum after going through alot of hassle with different brands and makes of snares that I thought would sound great. To make a long story short, I ended up buying a Ludwig 6.5x14 hammered bronze snare drum. I had one years ago and after listening to old recordings I had of bands I was in and studio stuff I did, that snare drum sounded awesome and never let me down. I sold the one I had in 1994 to get some other gear. Anyway, I love the drum, but would it kill Ludwig to put the badge on straight? I never had a badge on a Ludwig drum that was put on straight, they're always tilted. Plus, the badge looks as cheap as can be. I had several different Yamaha kits over the years and the badges were always spot on and they looked classy. Now I have a DW kit and again, the badges are perfect, like someone put them on with a level and they look like they cost $1000 each. The badge on my Ludwig snare looks like it was cut out of a piece of tin foil and it was put on way crooked. It's a good thing the drum sounds phenomenal! Come on Ludwig! Maybe I'm being picky but it just bugs me. Anyone else?

Very funny.......I remember when I bought my Black Beauty. Two in the shop at the time......one had a crooked badge (or perhaps I should say it was loose and spun around the hole). Guess which one I bought??
