Prototype snares worth more or less?

After many years, I FINALLY identified a Brand new snare drum I have been wanting to sell. It sat in the box all this time since I had no clue what model it was. Amyways, it is a prototype of a $440 Gretsch New Classic snare drum. Do prototypes sell for more or less than the original?
