Any pointers on learning to play offbeat syncopation???? DVD or books suggestions??

In addition to Reed's Syncopation, Syncopated Rolls for the Modern Drummer by Jim Blackley will give you all you can handle and more.

+1 on Ted Reed. This was my only study material for two entire years of lessons, and what a difference.
