so here's a video of me playing a drum cover for edward maya's Stereo Love. you probably know this song and i thought i'll do something original with it :P this being a drumming community i know you'll be less forgiving than just friends watching this video so i'll go ahead and say - yes, i know there are quite a few f*ck-ups in there and sloppy bits.. i could play it right on count but didn't give it the time and effort (lazy me..) so it's just a cool little piece, hope you like it! enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PuCB9eE8aA |

Yeah, I like that a lot. I'm a multi cymbal kinda guy too but tend to use them for texture rather than in groove variety. Nice chops and great groove later in the piece. You play with a nice touch and free flowing style. Probably wouldn't have to piece together 3 takes if you weren't distracted by stick twirling! Lol.

thanks man! and yeah, you're probably right about the stick twirling. it killed otherwise good parts of other takes :D
but again, just experimenting with video-making and such. had fun making this and i guess it makes it a bit more fun to watch too =] |
