Default 16" SK 1 Bass Drum Head?

Anyone try it? Converting a floor tom and curious what head I should use for acoustic rock.
Thanks in advance.

I play a Manu Katche Gig Kit which has a 16 X 16 bass drum. I ordered an SKII and Regulator for it and they sound tremendous...you do sacrifice volume if not micd'. Also, a clear Evan Hydraulic (batter) with a coated Powerstroke 3 (reso). I read a piece where Steve Smith suggested to use two felt strips about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the top across the batter and reso for ring control. I tried it with the Evans/Powerstroke combo and it sound good. Hope this helps!
