Default Reso heads for toms

I'm looking to change out my resonant heads and need some advice. Right now I am using Evans Onyx heads. My tom sizes are 12x10, 13x11, 16x16 and I tend to tune them low, dark, and punchy. What resos would be a good compliment? Brand doesn't matter.

Personally I would go with the Evans EC Resonant heads. They are great at getting that added focus out of each tom with a little less sustain. But if that doesn't work you can always go with Remo Ambassadors (industry standard for most).

I would go even further to say coated Remo Ambassador, or an equivalent 10 mil single-ply head. These heads make the drum sound a little bit "rounder", warmer and darker than a standard clear reso head, and in conjunction with a coated batter head like the Onyx may eliminate the need for external muffling (depending on the individual drum).
I've been using coated Emperors over coated Ambassadors for the awhile on my birch toms and they sound great.
