Default Bass drum masking plates

Hey everyone I need some help and wondered if anyone can help me?!

I recently got my hands on a new Premier series classic kit (1 up, 2 down) and i'm looking to remove the tom mount off the bass drum and replace it with a masking plate but can't find one anywhere to fit the job!

I know pearl made a few masking plates but obviously for pearl kits (see the link below)

I just need to find a plain one to cover up the hole.

Does anyone know where I can get one from or if there is anywhere I could get one made?!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

...............................

Found a guy called So Cal Mike that did custom yamaha plates but don't think he does them anymore...

Something like this would be sweet!

From the sound of it, Mike still can make them but there would be no printing on it since his supplier went out of business. Maybe you can see about getting a blank one.

JM Smith Custom DrumWorks does custom badges, so they could probably do this. However, it may cost quite a bit...

You could also research local guys, often small operations, who do CNC or lazer cutting work. My brother does laser cutting on plexi-glass, all he requires is a cad drawing to cut and engrave. I'm sure w/ some leg work you could find some one locally to get what you need.

Cheers for all the advice fellas! Jeff I've already dropped Mike a message to see if he can sort me out with one but have had no reply yet and Cathartic_j I've sent an email to JM Smith Custom drums to see if they can do this kind of thing.

Cheers guys!

Hey fellas!

sorry for the late update but I'm in talks with JM Smith custom drums at the moment and they're sorting me out with a plate right now! Nice one Cathartic_j! They have all the sizes to work by but now they're waiting on me for the design for the plate which is where I need more help again!!!

I was thinking of having my name on it but then decided it was a bit sad?! I'm looking for something quite funny and witty to put on there like a good quote or something.

Any suggestions?!
