Default Straight or offset lugs?

This is just opinion really, but i'm wondering what you guys prefer?

For me it kinda depends on the drum and finish. If it's a nice vintage Gretsch then i prefer straight for some reason. Whereas on an over-the-top, custom coloured Truth (which i wouldn't mind having!) or SJC kit then i think the offset lugs suits the look more.

Default Re: Straight or offset lugs?

Straight, for me. I've never really dug the look of offset lugs. Plenty do though obviously....they are certainly becoming more common as far as I can see.
