Default Tama Imperialstar

Hey everyone, thought I'd show off my Tama kit... nothing real special, just a second kit, something to practice on. I actually think it sounds superb considering the fact its a "beginner" class kit. Here are the specs:

18"x14" BD // Tama stock/Remo Amb. Reso
10"x8" TT // G2 coated over G1 clear
13"x11" FT // G2 coated over G2 clear
14"x5" Ludwig Acrolite // Reverse dot over Ludwig stock reso

14/16/20 Med XS20's

Sorry for the pics, they were taken with my phone. You get the idea though

It may be a "beginner" set, but with proper tuning it can sound great. Now you've even replaced the heads with Remo and Evans. Its hardware is the best in its class.

Btw, how do you like the original Imperialstar snare?

Thanks for the comments,

simple kit user : I actually didn't get the original imperialstar with the kit. I bought the 18/10/13 drums alone used. Your right though, tuned up these do sound pretty good. The hardware is much sturdier than my gretsch catalina kit.
