Default Christmas has come and gone... what'd you get?

For me it was an awesome Treeworks 23 bar Classic Chime, a set of Vader Timbale Sticks (buying more!) and Led Zeppelin's fourth. Thats just Muzak stuff and the T-shirts and underwear hardly diserve mention...

My family all bought me clothes, but I bought myself a new PDP kit that was on clearance. Might go check out some cymbals and a new snare on Monday. I've had my eye on a Pork Pie Lil' Squealer for a while now.

Will have pics of new kit once it arrives.

I bought myself what I wanted this year. I bought myself a used Tama kit. I also bought drum and hardware bags for the new/used kit. I bought all new stands for the kit too.
I told my wife and kids to save their cash and not get me anything.
I'm happy with that scenario. I got what I wanted!

I was very lucky this year my wife bought me...
K custom dark crash 18"
K Custom dark crash 17"
K custom session ride 20"
K mastersound 13" hi hats.

I play A customs and Zildjian oriental china,s, but these cymbals just sit beautifully with the set, so i,m going to keep them all for now.

Awesome stuff everybody! I'm looking to go find a better crash to replace my gawdawfull Sabian Xs20 with the cash money I got from the familia.

"A most excellent choice! Don't neglect LZII and Physical Graffiti either and then be sure to collect the rest!! "

Yeah, I'm gonna pick up the complete studio box set. The breadth of quality that is in that library is without equal.

Not a whole lot drumming-wise, but a set of coated emperors for my toms as well as a PS3 and diplomat hazy for my snare. Everything sounds great.

I did get some money though so I'll likely be checking out some cymbals this week.

I got loads of bottles of wine from my students!!!! I'm kind of worried about the connotations..... ;-)

I also got a fine briefcase from one of my long term students so that I look professional when working through the school system this coming year.

And I bought a bunch of snares for myself!!!!!! 3!!!!!

Happy happy happy.....

Those kits and hats and stuff you guys got look great. I'd like a Russian hat. I have a thing for hats....

Oh one other thing I nearly got. I nearly had a heart attack on Xmas eve when the dog in my care nearly died, and then another freaked out and took off on a 6 lane highway while attached to a fence! How people did not die is beyond me. This episode went back and forth over half a kilometer. I finally stopped it by diving onto the fence as the dog flew down the road. What a mess.

Nothing really drum related. A Wii and a balance board, so I picked up Wii Music, which has a somewhat frustrating "drum kit" mode. I think I'll be picking up Band Hero at some point.

I did, however, get some wife credit towards my Yamaha DTXM12 with accessories.

Got a 6.5x14 Geo Way Studio in Marine Pearl. Great woody sound and nice response. Having a bit of a problem with the snare tension knob backing up while playing, so I'm trying to figure that out... Otherwise, it's got the vintage vibe and a great sound!
