I like the motorcycle seat design myself. Been using a roc n soc for years and it's super comfy. If it were me I'd be looking for a hydraulic base though much more comfortable than a screw base.

I'd go with the ht-730 myself I don't. prefer bike style seats because there is only one-way too sit on them if the seat rotates you know what I mean.

I have a Roc-N-Soc nitro throne(hyd. base & round seat) love it it made me a better drummer because i don't. get fatigue as fast because i'm comfortable.

The ht-730 seat is pretty sweet through I haven't. seen a hybrid seat like that cool concept.

Whatever throne you decide on make sure it's the most comfortable one i've played 2 1/2 hour sets before and that's what made me get a Roc-N-Soc my old school 1970 Rogers throne just wasn't. cutting it anymore LOL I wished I would have got the Roc-N-Soc years ago.

Have fun choosing,
Bonzolead

I have the ergo-rider and LOVE it. Had it for about 3-4 years now and still looks brand new. Get it and you won' t be dissapointed.

I haven't tried the Ergo Rider, but The TAMA wide rider with the cloth top is very nice.
I am using the Roc N Soc right now and like it too.
The TAMA wide rider wins in looks alone. The TAMA may have a very slight edge in comfort and the Roc N Soc just slightly less restrictive. They are close and both good.
