Default My current Sonor setup

Hi guys,

Just to give you a look at my own kit, I will post it here.

Sonor 1007 Natural Studio set
Drumkit:

10" x 8" Tom
12" x 9" Tom
14" x 14" Floortom
14" x 5,5" Snaredrum
20" x 17,5" Bassdrum

Cymbals:

Paiste 101 14" Hi-Hats
Paiste 101 16" Crash
Paiste 101 20" Ride
Paiste 2000 18" Sound Reflections Crash
Masterwork 8'' Custom Splash

Percussion:
Remo 6"/8" Bongo"s
Supercussion 4"/6" Microtoms

Hardware:
Sonor 200 Series
Gibraltar 6600 Drum Throne

The setup as it was at the beginning, so without my bongo's and microtoms (and with my old stickbag and marching snare :D)

The setup as was untill last week, you can see that I've gone for an offset playing position to get a better access to my ride.

The setup as including the new Masterwork 8'' Custom splash and the Gibraltar drum throne.

The last pics I have for now. Its the ''added four-piece kit''

Looks resonable. Sorry about the 101 cymbals however the sound reflections looks alright.

Yeah, I know they aren't really top-notch. But at the moment i bought the kit i didn't have enough money to get better ones. But I am surely saving up for a new set of cymbals!

and read this, from wikipedia:

I don't know for sure yet.

I do like the sound of paiste alpha's/signature.
But if I will be looking for something more affordable I might just go for the Masterworks Troy series.

Nice setup. I like the offset toms, now you can move your ride over your bass. Gives a lot of comfort playing,

Bram
Actually, I seriously hate those muffling rings!
The only reason they are on my kit is the fact that without those rings I've got a sh*tload of overtones!

And since we are in an economical recession I havn't got enough money at the moment to buy new heads =D

I will try to get you a pic asap!
