I know I have already posted some pics, but being an intermediate and looking at some of the beautiful kits you guys have, has inspired me to change things up a bit. I just picked up a 14" Mapex MPX Birch snare and covered it with an Aquarian FOCUS-X coated w/ power dot. Sounds awesome and much better than the crappy 6 lugger I have been banging on. It's now 1up / 2dn (12-14-16) I am now referring to my kit as a TAY-PEX.... Half Taye / Half Mapex.... HA HA HA HA!!!! As always your feedback is welcome, as I am learning everyday. Hey now, Tama makes some good stuff.
And I agree with maddrummr, I'd love the specs for that bronze.

Your right tama does make good drums. He was just saying that if it was half tama, half mapex that the name would translate into tama Lol. I wouldn't mind testing out a superphonic snare myself.

Yeah, but apparently not everyone.
Plus, I am really not the kind of guy to give or take any hints. |
