Default Gibraltar Avengers and Pedal Drives help

i was just wondering whether the gibraltar avengers are any good since they don't get as much coverage as the gibraltar intruders or iron cobras etc. so what are you guys opinion on these pedals? are they good for a beginner in double bass? can they last for a long time? do they have sufficient power or is that up to the player and not the pedals?

could anyone tell me differences between the double chain drive, the strap drive and the direct drive?

i also need a bit of help finding out how to delete my threads. since i'm a newbie, i don't know how to do it. XD

yes, it is up to the player mostly. high end pedals do make things easier but overall as long as it's not a really cheap pedal it shouldn't slow you down too much.
