Default Can't get info

I have an older set of Yamaha shells, I bought used back in the early 90's. Recently, I decided to try and find out what they are. I've checked the serial # on Yamaha's site and talked to a local drum shop owner, to no avail.

Anyone know of a contact besides Yam. that might be able to shed a little light.

These are the mod# TT-813GF, TT-814GF, FT-816GC, BD-822GF

Thanks, Jeff

I'm not sure, but it looks like the early version of their maple series. My friend has a white set of late 80's recording customs, but those had the long lugs and birch shells.

As far as the Yamaha site, it may be easier to browse the old catalogs online, rather than by serial #'s, which weren't always accurate. Just look up your year, and you should be able to find your series by sight. After all, Yamaha never had millions of series throughout the years like Sonor or somebody.
