I'm not sure what depth it is, it might be 14x11, I haven't measured it. And I love it to! Great sounding drums.

Hey thanks TM! The VTC sounds great IMO. It is trashy just like it's name suggests. It is fairly thin and extremely responsive. It's doesn't need to be hit very hard to open up fast. I think it's a good alternative to a china as well and it's not too sound effecty that it can't be played like a standard crash.

I worry that it wouldn't be loud enough mixed in with my other crashes, I don't have a use for one, I just want one haha, I don't suppose you have any soundclips do you?

In the set-up shown it's my loudest cymbal. Sorry, no sound files but there are some on YouTube.

Hello,

My turn: a new acquisition. Tama Starclassic Maple in Scorched Copper Burst finish with nickel hardware. Snare is a Tama Warlord Masai with segmented bubinga hoops from Stellar Drums.

Masai before, then after, then SC pics. Enjoy!

Nice kit - specs? Looks like an 8, 10, 12, 16, 14, 22, 13/14?

Lovely finish, too - what's that finish called?

Your spot on mate and yeah as the poster after you stated it is indeed a Satin Cherry Burst. The camera never picks up the finish that well.

The cymbal to left is 20" A custom flat top ride and it's my favourite by far. The Murat Diril crash is also superb.

Glad you picked it mate, Tucker was fantastic during the whole design period. Truly an amazing little drum company. Do you have a pic of your snare? I checked your kit but it isn't in the thread.

Just completed my refurb on these 90's Premier XPK's. Turquoise lacquer, road rash here and there but fantastic color and sound. Possibly my favorite setup as shown...standard sizes...2x22,12,13,16,14 snare.

I've made a few changes since I last posted a POV pic.

Mapex Meridian 10/12/14/16/22
Evans G2 clear over Evans G1 coated heads
Evans EC2 over G1 the 16" FT
13" x 7" DDrum Dominion Maple Snare w/ Evans Coated Genera Dry head

Sabian 20" Hand Hammered HH Medium Heavy Ride
Sabian 20" HHX Manhattan Jazz Ride/Crash
Sabian 18" AA Medium Thin Crash
Sabian 14" AAX-plosian Crash
Wuhan 8' Splash
Pearl 14" CX300 HiHat top made into a kind of a trashy splasy sounding thingy
14" Zildjian Quick Beat Hi Hats

DW3000 Double Pedal
Roland TD4 brain used for the onboard metronome and training exercises

The pics make it look like it's buried into the wall, but there's about a foot or so from the front of the kick to the "wall".

Are those nasty wrinkles on your 14" batter head on the overhead shot or just stand reflections?

I don't usually find greenish shells attractive, but yours with the black fade look great. At least you're playing into a wall of insulation which should have a slight overall dampening affect.

That's a weird reflection thing of some wiring and stuff up in the open joists above. I don't run my heads quite that loose. ;) You made me go check though.. haha..thanks,

I never thought I'd like a green kit either but I just fell in love with that deep emerald green when I saw it up close.
