Default Hi-hat stands

Hey there, i am currently trying to find an extra tall hi-hat stand similar to Dave Grohl. im quite a big dude and just dont find it comfortable playing a standard hat.Any ideas?

Whatever brand of stand you now have "might" offer an xtra long top tube. Check with your drum shop. Sometimes you need to get a longer operating rod, also.

Some used to make an extender option, so you could add several inches of pull rod. It screwed into where your pull rod screwed into, and then you would screw your pull rod into the extender.

I don't recall whom made it.

Ships with long and short rods. 28" to 43".

I've got the exact opposite problem. My hats don't go low enough.

The Pearl Eliminator H2000 stand is substantially taller than any other stand I've tried, and it's a great stand all around as well. Recommended.

I have the stool as low as it goes man! i prefer sitting lower than normal and having everything higher.

I know Grohl used a sonor stand but it was custom made so......haha

Thanks dude ill need to check out the pearl!
