Default Clear Kick Reso Head

I know this may be strange, but if you have a clear reso head on your kick, will you post a pic? Thanks

Steve Smith has used a clear reso head on his bass drum for years. Going back to his days in Journey.

I've kinda always been tempted to do it, but I never have. The closest I've come is a frosted head where it was more white/translucent.
It was kinda cool, but I went back to the white head a couple weeks later.

More for how it looked, not the sound.

I don't have one (I like being able to hide behind my kit :-), but here's Simon Phillips' kit:

That's what I'm thinking, for the look. But will having a clear reso head have any effect on my bass drum's sound?

Naigewron: thanks for posting up the pics you found!

Not relative to the equivalent Ebony head.

Coated heads, however, are a different story.
