Their add says available 10/17/2009. Do you have them already???

Looks like a Yamaha Oak Custom wannabe, but with bad hardware. Hee hee.

Just kidding.

How thick are the shells? Do they offer tom/bass drum variety, or is it limited like the other Renown series?

Gretsch has really hit the mark, with their "purewood" line. Limited # of kits, almost guaranteed "built in" collectability. And on top of that, they're great drums. At least the Mahogany, Walnut, and Cherry sets I've seen are. Sweet.
