Default Bass Beaters

I just bought new pearl B100DB duo beaters and there worn down to the plastic on the felt side. I noticed they dont hit perfectly square.Im also using an evans eq patch and i can see the felt dust all over it. Is this normal? The beaters are only 2 months old.

Theres no beater angle adjustment on my Iron cobra Jr. DBl bass pedal.

Wow, after how long? Do you have sand paper for flam patch? White dust is normal on a felt beater. My Danmar round felt leaves a dusty white orange-size film every few sessions. If you're worn down to the plastic so soon, maybe it's time for some new beaters.

It's a little weird though. I haven't replaced a beater in years.

this is a reveiw written by another evans eq patch user

"okay, this is a great accessory, albeit only a patch, but it does wonders to muffle your bass drums and extend the life of your heads. one thing, however. if you use felt beaters, the felt will wear away very quickly, so I recommend using a plastic beater, unless your bass drum still resonates too much."

I didnt think quickly meant 2 months (and im lucky to play one hour per day). Anyone else use this patch and have the same issue?

Do you have a video of your kick playing?

I dont have a video but i think that may be part of the problem. I guess you could say i bury the beater. I play heel up but my foot is left down between notes.
