Default Snare head question

So I have a brass snare and fell in love with the sound the Evans genera gave me but with the music I currently play (loud-2b sticks) I dented the head pretty bad. Any suggestions on getting the genera sound and feel but with more durability. Probably asking for the impossible, I know you have to give up one for another...I just got a coated pinstripe, haven't put it on yet. I just want a warm sound that cuts the highs and still offers some durability. Does Evans have a 2ply Genera?

Thanks Ya'll
Greg

Evans makes a few different models of 2-ply drumheads. The Genera HD is a great head for rock and I'm sure it would sound great on that brass snare. Behold, the options: http://store.daddario.com/category/1...&currency_id=1

On one of my snares I have a Evans G2 coated batter head that came from one of my toms. It sounds great for loud or soft music and still works for brushes.
