Default Thanks for the help

I had been thinking of replacing the head on my snare. I have a Mapex QR kit with Remo UX heads. Thanks to such thorough discussion of drum head options in this forum I felt comfortable with the choice I made. I went with the Jack DeJohnette from Aquarian. WOW what a wonderful difference. I get a much cleaner mid range sound without much ring (overtone?), and a nice "pop" when I need it. If I would have realized what an upgrade I would get for the investment I would have made the change sooner. I guess I know what this means for the tom heads!
Thanks again for all of the great discussion and advice!

I, too, have found this site to be of great use in buying new gear.
