Default Skyntone=excellent - Fiberskyn=not so much?

Just put the Skyntones on. Takes out the higher pitched part of the overtone/ring and seems to tune very easy - as in the overtone/ring and the snares edginess sound good over a wide range. (Not sure if I am describing this right but there are tunings where the batter overtone sounds bad like odd order harmonics and the snare assembly seems to rattle making an odd sound. Maybe this is a tuning for the batter that isn't complementary to the reso tuning?). This head seems to sound much better over a broader range than any head I have used before. This is the first head I have no issue running without Moongel and it allows a center hit with a small amount of ring and more of an edge hit with a good ring. Makes the head dual purpose in that regard now. Sounds good with brushes too.

Fiberskyn - unless I tuned it wrong I had a hard time finding the sweetspot overtone/ring wise for this head and it bubbles up over time.
