Well I'm planning on upgrading my cymbals, and I've heard great reviews about the Bosphorus Traditionals and Gold. Theres a place online where I can get these at a great price but I didn't want to buy anything without trying them first. I went to a store near my place and tried out their fairly limited range of Bosphorus they had (and were definately overpriced).
I decided that the traditionals were the way to go as they had a lot more warmth to them compared to the golds. The only problem is that they only had a 16" and 17" of the traditionals. I was really loving the sound of the 17", and while i felt the 16" was okay, i was thinking of going along the lines of a 17", 18" combination (all medium weight cymbals by the way). I don't have any way of trying out an 18", so before I decide to go with this combination, I was more just wanting your opinions of a 17" and 18" crash combination in general, and hopefully with the Bosphorus Traditionals specifically. Thanks, and sorry for the long-winded post lol
