Default Best practice pad?

I have been playing with sound offs on my drums. I really like them, they save my ears and allow me to practice when others are in the house.

The problem is that I find that the feel is really different when I take them off and play on the normal heads. Can anyone recommend a product whether it be stand alone or something that you place directly on the heads that really emulates that real drum feel?

Thanks

No, unfortunately such a product doesn't exist. I've found the Sabian Quiet Tone pads to be the closest for feel. Pricey though.

Check out Ludwig's P4 practice pad. Four pads, four feels, three levels, all on one practice pad; practice your drum set on your practice pad.
