Pork Pie Throne

Decided that I am going to get a pork pie drum throne, but I'm wondering if anybody has used/ or is using the pork pie gel throne? My guitar center doesn't have any gel ones, so was wondering if it's worth the extra 40 dollars or w/e it is. Thanks!
