Floor tom next to hi-hat anyone?
I've found I rarely hit the biggest floor tom - 16 inches - during gigging. So it's a waste of effort/space humping it along to gigs. Has anyone shifted their floor tom over next to the hats - like a lot of players seemed to do in the 90s? What are the rythymic possibilities and would you recommend it?
